This portrayal of Chara has DID (dissociative identity disorder) and is a system of two. My writing of DID is NOT accurate to real life cases of DID at all !!! Please be aware that this is not how DID works in real people. I am basing my portrayal of Chara's DID off Toko Fukawa from Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc. Chara will switch from the sound of a snap similar to Toko who switches when sneezing. Real people with DID don't switch like that. I don't want to write it very accurately because I myself do not have DID so I don't have the experience. All I'm saying is please don't assume all people with DID are like this because it is 100% not true. The only thing truly accurate about my portrayal is that Chara's DID was developed through childhood trauma that lead them to climb mount Ebott.

THE FIRST DEMON
After constant abuse by their parents and bullying at school, Chara had enough. Growing hatred for humans, they murdered their parents and ran away to Mount Ebott. Their reason being to commit suicide. How could they live knowing what they've done? Sitting at the edge of a cliff on the mountain, thoughts ran through their mind. "I didn't kill my parents I didn't I didn't! it wasn't me I wouldn't-" Of course Chara didn't want to blame herself. Through the intensity of what had happened and her trauma, Chara separated herself from it all, creating a new idenity. Nines. It was Nines who did it. It was all Nines. When Chara jumped, she survived not remembering anything that had happened. Only Nines knew. She went on to meet Asriel, and soon the two found each other making a plan to save the underground. They both died. The plan failed.
